What is involved in Tricopat Hair Loss Treatment?

Topical anaesthetic is not required for Tricopat treatment. The skin will be cleansed with an antimicrobial solution. The scalp is then treated in two phases.

In the first phase (micro-pulsing and mechanical patting), the device gently massages the scalp with low frequency mechanical pulses. The device produces acoustic waves creating shallow microscopic pathways in the skin. A gel containing synthetic growth factors and amino acids is applied.

In the second phase, mild electrical current (iontophoresis) enables the active ingredients and growth factors to travel deep into the scalp layers through the micro-channels. Red LED light is applied simultaneously to reduce scalp inflammation, stimulate cellular metabolism, and support follicle regeneration.

The treatment takes around 30 minutes to complete.

Tricopat is a completely non-invasive and painless procedure. Most patients describe the sensation as a relaxing scalp massage.

Tricopat is generally well-tolerated. Some patients may experience mild redness or sensitivity in the treated area, which typically resolves quickly.

What aftercare is required for Tricopat Hair Loss Treatment?

Tricopat aftercare is minimal since the treatment is non-invasive and has no downtime. For best results you should avoid washing your hair for 24 hours after treatment, avoid strenuous exercise or sweating for 24 hours, and avoid applying topical medications for 5 days after treatment. Avoid touching or scratching the treated area to prevent irritation or infection.

If treatment is in conjunction with other treatments such as PRP or MCT PRP with Exosomes, treatment should be spaced 2 weeks apart.
