A topical gel recently launched in the UK reduces erythema in rosacea patients. Mirvaso(c) which contains an active ingredient that causes vasoconstriction in the affected skin areas, found it significantly reduced redness in the face when applied once a day, and was well-tolerated. The drug could benefit those who suffer from severe redness from rosacea.
